Work has been INCREDIBLY slow lately. There are so many girls also that hours have been cut and there's been upwards of 8-10 girls on the floor. We're not that big of a restaurant, so it's very difficult to make money lately. Behind bar, I'm still making over 100 dollars, but I'm working very hard for it. I just can't WAIT for summer to end so the busy season can start back up again. I haven't had any insanely awesome stories to write on here since my hours are cut short. My manager has told all of us though that they're going to start giving hours based on sales, whether your image is good or not, stuff like that. My sales are pretty good, I'm a good employee and always on time, and I've only been told to get my nails done to make my image perfect (I haaaattteee getting my nails done so I really don't think I'll do this). Hopefully I'll have lots of hours again soon enough.
On that note, while I've been off from work, I've been spending time with my new boyfriend! He likes telling people he's dating a Hooters girls lol! He seems to think though that I get hit on a lot. Blah, if he only knew the guys who came through that hit on me. . . . old nasty perverted men -_-. But my boyfriend is amazing and he treats me like a princess. I'm definitely in love :) <3
Ugh, I wish I had some actual stories for you guys, but I really don't. I'm gonna have to start thinking of different things to write about regarding work. We'll see!

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball
I'm always trying to find ways to enjoy work. It can really get old coming in at night, dealing with the same customers, the same food, the same girls, every. single. night. So once in a while, roomie and I will search for new games or items to bring to work to keep us entertained. We've brought her Wii to play, we've brought card games, we've made obstacle courses, but NOTHING compares to what we found last night.

DODGETAG!!!
The restaurant closes at midnight, so roomie and I donned our headbands (yes, we bought headbands), our vests, and received 3 squishy balls each and ran around the restaurant pegging each other with these balls. Whoever got the ball to stick on the vest first, won. When the other girls saw us playing, they wanted to join also. Even our manager and a few customers were dying to play!
While this was going on, we managed to get my iphone hooked up to the stereo system and played Pandora Radio throughout the restaurant. Little things like this make work actually fun. It makes me WANT to go into work and play. Telling us we can't do this or that when it's encouraged by corporate to have fun is so confusing. But hopefully after last night, we'll get to do more things like that more often!

Not related to work at all
I also wanted to add one more thing, since I do like to keep track of my life via this blog sometimes. But C and I are completely done. He wasn't what I thought and I did get really hurt in the process. I should have listened to the warnings that I got and I should have listened to my head, but I didn't.
I'm getting boyfriend fever . . . -_- I want a guy to be with and to love me for me. I'm so picky and I refuse to settle for anything less than what I deserve, but damn I hate being single now. I've been single for almost a year. It's getting old and quick.

Not my fault this time!!
So sorry everyone, but my school account decided to change and do some crazy stuff without me knowing. As a result, my email for this blog became altered and I had been working for the past month to figure out how to log into my account. I ended up just completely changing my email for this blog and I should be alright now. We'll see!
Time to catch you lovely readers up on what's been going on in the land of Hooterville! About two weeks ago we had the Hooter's Swimwear Contest. This year's theme was Gangster/Roaring 20's theme. Roomie was pushed by our GM to be in the contest, even though she really didn't want to. Unfortunately, it became a scheduled shift and she couldn't back out. So off we went (with our other friend in tow) to look for a gangster costume she could wear. This was SO not easy!! But roomie and friend found one and she looked awesome in the contest!! She did not place in the top ten, but three other girls from our store did (out of 31 girls). I was so proud of them!! All of our girls worked very hard to be up there. I was sad though because I got a few regulars telling me I should have been up there. I'm just too self conscious about my lack of boobies and my stomach that I couldn't see myself up on that runway. Next year though, I want to try for real.
I cannot forget to talk about S. Now, I try very hard to give all the new girls who come into the restaurant a chance. But I also know when someone will be gone relatively soon after they get hired. S was like that. This woman really gave us a bad name for a bit because she had no line of decency. She would tell our customers while pouring beer, "I always give head. And I won't stop until you tell me to. . . " all while acting sultry. This woman was a Hooter's Girl back in '99 and had no concept of anything. She had fake hair, fake teeth, a fake nose, and fake boobs. I have no problem with this, but when she looked really fake and has all the customers asking if she was once a man . . . :( Suffice to say, she was let go the other night. We get some interesting girls.
Now I know Hooters gets a bad rap because apparently we're all sluts, but I've never heard a story quite like this. I was off this night, but we had one girl who's name is A. She was sitting with one guy at her table, talking and laughing with him for quite some time. He wasn't eating, only drinking. Apparently, a woman came storming up to A and yelled out "I see you staring this man in the eye! I'm not stupid! I KNOW what you're trying to do, you whore! YOU'RE A PROSTITUTE AND ARE TRYING TO SELL YOUR SERVICES!!!" At this point, our manager comes out after hearing the commotion and he gets her wrath as she screams that she will never enter a Hooters again because they're just a prostitution ring. Um, ok? I couldn't help but laugh when I heard this story. Once again, I must mention that we have girls going to college, already have their degrees, are mothers and wives and innocent girls. We are not whores at all. It's funny though to hear it. :)
I know there are more stories to tell, but I cannot think of them at the moment. Does anyone know of an app that works well for on-the-go blogging? I need one for my iphone so I don't have to go forever and a day and wait to get to my computer to tell my stories.
Also, my birthday's coming up! Dunno what that has to do with anything, but I'm excited!! :D

Drama and Audits! Oh and annoying people.
I really need to get my internet card back up and running again. I'm at my parent's apartment right now using their wifi for this. I could always update this from my phone, but it's not that easy :( So, I'm updating now! And boy, is it a loonnnggg update.
I'll update with work first, since this is my Hooters blog after all :) There is so much drama and anger at work right now that it really makes going to work almost a chore right now. Everything from the schedule, the new girls, who does what to help out everyone else, and everything in between is causing fights with everyone. This is such a recent thing that it's really just a hassle going in to work. I'm too old for this drama! I'm just trying to make some money! lol
The other night I worked bar and work was dead. I was making amazing tips since the people who came in knew me and always tip me really well. For some reason though, every annoying mother effer also decided to sit at the bar. There was one guy who loves to just act like such an asshole (I kept asking him what he wanted to order for dinner and he would smirk and stare at me. Then I'd walk away since I had other things to do and he'd bitch about how he wanted to order. . . um ok??), another guy who talks my ear off and thinks everything he says is funny (and he tips horrible, but that's not really my complaint with him), and then there's the last guy who LOOOVVVEESSS my roomie (in a very creepy way) but can't stand me. Haha, so all of these guys sat at my bar within close times and let me just say . . . I was faking a smile for at least an hour. What I really wanted to do was yell at the top of my lungs, "WHY DO YOU GUYS ANNOY ME SO MUCH!?!?!"
I also want to give a quick bit about one of my favorite customers. There's one guy who comes in and literally puts a smile on my face whenever I see him. He is one of the few customers I can talk to about my personal life and I can trust him not to say anything to anyone else. He listens and gives advice, but also laughs and makes me feel like I'm really funny. He's a caretaker for a mentally challenged guy named Michael and it's so amazing to watch them interact. This guy is so over the top nice and I always tell him it makes me so happy to see him. It's nice to have a break from some of the weird, creepy guys.
We have our big big boss coming in tomorrow and I'm so nervous! I need to make sure my hair looks perfect, my outfit is spotless, my shoes cleaner than clean, and my makeup nothing short of hot. Eeeeeek! I don't want them to be like, "GIRL WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOUR LOOK?!?!" That would suck hardcore.
Now, another reason why my update took so long this time is because I've been talking to a new guy. I've been referring to him as C and it's been pretty interesting to talk to him lol. We're taking things day by day and slow. He's been hurt very bad by his ex girlfriend and I'm very afraid to open up to him, only to get hurt. He's in the air force and just got back from Iraq. We met through his best friend and my roomie (who are dating lol) and we all went out for St. Patrick's Day way back last month. Of course, there are days that I can't read him and it bothers me, but then he makes up for it by being really sweet and patient. So we'll see what happens, I guess. I'm honestly hoping this could go somewhere, but I'm not holding my breath, especially after everything with Jonathan.
Hopefully my next update won't be so far away. I always have funny stories when I get out of work, its just that typing it all from my phone is so tedious sometimes. I also wanted to say hi to all my new followers! HI FOLLOWERS!!! :D
also . . . I like comments . . . just saying :)

Happy St. Patricks Day!
Sorry I wasn't able to update the past few days. I've had a lot going on and a lot on my mind. But let's start back with St. Patrick's Day.
Roomie and I worked together that day. She was working the bar and I was on the floor. I managed to pick a pretty good section, but one girl needed to pay her boyfriend's parents 600 dollars that weekend and her section would not help her in that department. So I switched with her and ended up in the very back. I didn't think anything of it and just waited for the crowd to come in. Now, apparently last year the girls were supposed to wear schoolgirl costumes. This year, management decided against it. Thank God because walking around with a skirt that would barely cover my ass was not something I was looking forward to.
So la la la, work is dead and we're just hanging out and taking pictures of our very cute St. Patrick's Day uniforms and makeup. Then . . . . the crowd rushes in. And boy oh boy did it rush in.
I had four tables (a 2-top, 3-top, 5-top, and 4-top) and then I had a 14-top. I can usually handle tables like this, even though I am rushing around like a madwoman. I know I can handle these types of tables. But the kitchen was backed up and food was taking about an hour and fifteen minutes to get out to the tables. Woah what? Yup, over an hour for your food to get to your table from the time you order it. Suffice to say, my tables were not very happy, even when I tried to explain that I'm trying to my hardest to get the food out. It's not my fault and the kitchen can only do so much.
Roomie said the place was PACKED and every girl was running around trying their hardest. It definitely put UFC nights and Football Sundays to shame as far as their attendance is concerned. Luckily, my tables (except my 5-top) understood and still left amazing tips for me. I was so shocked because I did not expect to make what I did that morning. At the end of the shift, all the girls and I looked at each other and just laughed. That was all we could do.
At least I got to go out for drinks later that night!

Not everyone is there for the wings
I'm working my typical Monday night bar shift tonight and things were a tad bit boring. I mean really boring. Then some guy sits and he seems normal. Orders a mich ultra draft beer and just looks around for a bit. No problem. I just tend to my other customers and check to see if Mich Ultra needs anything from time to time.
A bit later two guys come in and we're screwing around with each other, giving each other a hard time and just being dumb. I walk away to put some glasses in the cooler and walk back to the guys. Guy One gives me a grossed out look and shakes his head. I ask him what's up because I hope on everything he wasn't making the look toward me. He nods toward Mich Ultra and his voice gets really low.
"Dude over there keeps looking at your ass when you bend over and licking his lips and stuff."
I look over my shoulder and, sure enough, Mich Ultra is wiping drool from his lips, licking them, and not only looking at my butt and boobs, but other girls as they walk by. Roomie was working tonight so I call her over and she rolls her eyes and says, "Oh yeah, he's creepy. He usually gets really drunk and then tries to walk out on his tab."
Sooooo what do I do? I ask him if he wants anything else (at this point he's had three small beers) and he says no. I put the check down and make sure he pays. . . But not before secretly being sketched out. Why must I attract the creepsters??
Otherwise, work was insanely dead all weekend. I was shocked, considering we were showing the boxing match on Saturday. Hopefully we'll get a better turnout for the next fight. I would appreciate the money :)

Bikini contest? Um, ok?
Sitting at jumpstart yesterday (a meeting for us before the start of shift to figure out new info, etc), my GM brings up the bikini contest that is this weekend. THIS WEEKEND. Somehow I get dragged into doing it. I laugh it off at first, thinking my managers and a few of the girls were joking. Then I realize they're serious. I just shook my head because I'm nowhere near what I would consider good material for bikini contests right now. I don't say that stuff to get compliments because I will be the first to say I'm cute, but I'm so not hot or sexy. So my managers pulled me aside and asked again. I just don't know if I can do it yet. I don't have the confidence yet nor the body that I think I'll need. There's one more contest in a few months but I need professional pics taken to enter so I may try that one. Again, we'll see. It's a lot of work, I hear.
Oh yes! And there's a theif among us at work. The other night (Sunday if I remember correctly) a girl had over 100 dollars stolen from her purse. Someone literally rifled through her stuff and stole money. See kids? This is why you don't bring valuables inside because you can never trust anyone anymore. I felt horrible for this girl though. All I could do was hug her as she cried because she has bills and stuff to pay for. I wish there was something I could have done for her. :(
I have today and tommorrow off so I'm spending the day today on my hopefully new college campus and getting stuff figured out so I can get in and start in the fall. This campus is really pretty and I'm psyched to hopefully be back on track with school. It'll be a relief to finish it in a year or two :)
On that note, I'm peacing out so I can be productive tonight. Thanks to everyone following me on this thing right now :) I love sharing my stories with you all!

So last night was the Duke/UNC game and I had to bartend with another bartender. Oh, this should be easy I said.
WRONG.
Ticket after ticket after ticket popped up on drinks me and the other bartender had to make for a solid 5 hours. How we did it, I have no idea. But we worked awesome as a team and someone even called back today to say how pleasant their experience was at the bar. This really made my day because I really try my hardest to be a good waitress or bartender to my customers. :)
Then the shift was drawing to a close. There were three guys at a nearby table, asking me and one other girl to kick everyone out because they wanted to be the last ones in the restaurant. This normally wouldn't bother me as I would assume they were just being dumb. This time I felt strange, like they were expecting more from the girls. They asked the weirdest questions and stayed well after close. Finally, most of us girls went to the back room to change and go home. However, there was one girl up front, still trying to flirt with them and being totally oblivious to the advances of these guys. She got a few eyebrow-raises from us and we told her she needed to be more careful (she's pretty naive).
Oh yes, I can't forget about one regular. He comes in all the time and tips insanely well. I'm talking 100 dollar tips on 50 dollar tabs. Hes so nice and cares genuinely about us, asking how we are and joking with us. Despite the fact the bar was backed up, the kitchen screwed his order up, and we didn't talk to him a whole bunch, he still left 96 on 105. He is just over the top nice.
Bar shift tomorrow night. I should get to bed since I have a lot of errands to run before work. Well, I'll finish my wine first :)

Higher patience or not listening?
This morning, while bartending, this guy waddles his way in and sits at a stool at the end of the bar. I recognize him as an annoying guy I had way back a few months ago. He talks and laughs like a hyena and I find myself just staring. Literally, I just stare at him because he annoys me that much. It got me thinking about my patience level. Now, surely I haven't become more patient. In fact, I know this isn't the case because there has been a few times I have let myself slip and told off a creepy guy or two.
I can only assume that I've just become that much better at tuning people out and still look interested in what they're saying. Or maybe they're just too stupid to catch on that I don't care?
This will need more research. I will check back with my results when I get some.

I'm Back
Yes, I got lazy and stopped writing. I'm not even all that busy, lol. But I definitely have tons of stories every shift and I kept meaning to write them down and would just . . . not do it. :( So forgive me!!
Let's see what all has happened since October (the last time I posted). I moved out of my parents place and moved into a small house with Tara, my best friend here and a co-worker. The house is right down the street from my parents, so I can still go over there all the time (which is good because I'm super close with my parents). Tara and I get along really well and we carpool to work when we can.
J and I are still talking pretty much everyday. We're in a limbo right now on us dating because he doesn't want to be serious while overseas and wants to do all that romantic stuff (asking me out, etc) in person. I agree because I want to see him before confirming everything, if that makes sense. But we're doing good.
I started bartending. My first night alone was New Years Eve and I made about 220 dollars that night. I love bartending. I never understood what Tara meant when she said that you really learn a lot about who you work with and the people who come in and dine with us since you can stand back and watch everything sometimes. And I do. I learn who is an excellent worker, who really could care less about being there, what customers are really nice and which ones are just . . . ew.
Alright, one story before I stop for the night. Last night I was bartending and there was a guy at the bar who was completely wasted. I'm talking drunker than anything. I asked my manager to please cut him off, which he did. I looked away for a few minutes and the next thing I know, the guy is gone. He walked out on his tab. I really hope he had a ride or something because he refused my calling him a cab and said a friend was going to be up to get him later. I was just very grrrrr about the situation.
Ahhh yes. It feels good to be back.

What a weekend!!
Woah! Maaajjjooorrr updates and stories in this entry. Sorry I've been lacking in the blog department :)
I was out of town last week with Jessica, a girl from work. We drove to the beach and hung out, went to the aquarium, went clubbing, and had lots and lots of drinks :) Of course, my last night there was fun except toward the end. On the car ride home, one of the guys slapped Jessica. She laughed it off and moved on. Then the guy turns and slaps me. Ummmm, no. I lunged across the car and slapped and punched him until he let up. Kinda ruined my night, but I got over it pretty quickly. After all, I had to get to bed at a decent hour to make the drive home.
Saturday night at work was amazing though. I received first pick, so I chose one of our best sections. One table said I was the best server of any restaurant they had ever been to. My reward? An item of my choosing from the merchandise store. I chose a shirt I've had my eye on for a while now. It's white with the letters 'LOVE' arranged in a giant block (if that makes sense) and in pink. I was so incredibly happy. Also, one of the guys at the table actually lived down the street from me back in Tampa. How crazy is that?? It was a really good night.
Sunday was boring, like always. The Panthers had a bye week, so naturally not many people came in to watch the games. I sat with some Chicago Bears fans and we were pretty disappointed they lost. :( Oh well, maybe next time. I did have a guy come in though, sit in one of my booths and order a water. Nothing else. Sat there for four hours and when his game was over, got up and left. Suffice to say, I was pretty peeved. Couldn't he have sat at the bar if that's what he was here for? This just seals it for me though; I am going to try my hardest not to work Sunday mornings again. The table turnover is nil and I just don't make the money that I would any other day of the week
I picked out my costume for Halloween. All I need to do is find some white flats to wear since I refuse to wear heels all day. Here's a pic of it.

Oh! And I sold my first calendar! Hooters has this thing going where they will send a calendar to our troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan if you buy one and write a little note on a sticker for them. Yayyyy!! I'm going to probably buy a few and send them over. :)
Speaking of troops, finally got to talk to J yesterday. He had been away for the past three days and I started to get worried. It was 11:11 yesterday morning and I told him to make a wish (I've always made wishes on 11:11 and make sure he does so too). I told him cookies and cupcakes don't count since he always wishes for that. So he kept badgering and asking what my wish was and seemed a little upset I wouldn't tell him (HELLO! Wishes don't come true if you tell!!). But I relented and told him. . . . sooooo we'll see lol.
That is the quick and dirty of what's been going on for the past week. I work a lot this week, so I'm sure there will be plenty of stories later.

"You don't seem like a Hooters Girl"
I hung out with a regular and a girl from work last night at a nearby club after I got out of Hooters. The girl had walked away and it was just me and the regular. He turns to me and we have this conversation:
Him- "Now . . . don't take this the wrong way at all."
Me- "Ok?"
Him- "I've been watching you and trying to read you since you first started, and I've gotta say; You just don't seem like you're a Hooters Girl."
Me- "I'm confused. Is that bad??"
Him- "No! Well, I don't think it is. You've got all your shit together. I mean, you go to school, you want to make something of yourself, you don't deal with drama, you're extremely nice, so I just can't see you as a Hooters Girl."
At this point I start laughing. I don't think what he said was bad at all, but it really got me thinking. Stereotypically, what exactly makes a Hooters Girl?

Don't drink and drive!
Yesterday was completely dead. I mean, so dead that I ended up repricing a lot of our merchandise, scrub the window free of residue left from a sticker, and do some crunches and cardio in the booths. How much did I make? I made just enough to buy me a new Hooters jacket. Since moving here, I've bought so much winter stuff and one more jacket can't hurt :)
We have this regular who creeps me the eff out. He comes in all the time and has the craziest droopy-eye thing I've ever seen. He acts like he knows everything and we all joke he should just apply to be a Hooters girl. Anyway, he came in once before and I had him at my table. Must be a newbie thing because none of the other girls told me how he was. Oh well, I learned the hard way. This guy talked about wanting to set up something to get pictures of me, kept saying he wants to take me out, hit me over the head with thundersticks (literally, HIT ME OVER THE HEAD AS HARD AS HE COULD!!), and would not leave me alone. He will latch on to a girl and obsess over them endlessly. Oh, and when you're away, he will talk as much trash as he can about you. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. He came in yesterday and I was pricing the merchandise. A new girl was standing and talking with me when he interrupted us and talked about how awesome he was that he drove drunk yesterday without hitting anyone or getting pulled over.
Let me stop here and tell you how much this infuriates me. My best friend almost died because she drove home drunk. Hearing him talk about it like it's no big deal just angered me hardcore. As I opened my mouth to say something, new girl jumped in and laid into him.
"Wait wait wait!!! You mean to tell me you drove home, drunk, on the effin highway, and think it's a joke?? What about the innocent people on the road?? Seriously, we live in a town with a million hotels and you couldn't have the brains to just stay in one for a night?? No, I can't believe you would brag about that. It's not cool at all."
*silence*
And Crazy Eye walks away without another word. I look at New Girl and smile. She's pretty much my hero.

I work a double tomorrow (Wednesday), Sunday, and I work Friday night. I'm pretty stoked, especially because it means that I got four days off this week. We'll see how well this does for my income.
I worked doubles on Saturday and Sunday this past week, not scheduled. I was very happy-go-lucky and ready to go until about 4 or 5pm on Sunday. I don't know why, but my attitude completely did a 180. I went from being very happy to downright angry at everything and everyone. It didn't help the fact that a regular who comes in all the time sat in my section. This guy thinks his shit doesn't stink. Whatever, that's who he is. So after a while his all-knowing attitude really gets to me and I just walk away.
Finally it all came to a boil when a girl makes coffee and walks away to do other work. Somehow, the coffee fell off the wait station and burned my leg; not too bad, but just enough to hurt me. So I just started to cry. Haha, typical of me. I went to the back to redo my makeup (with the help of some of my lovely girls <3) and I was back to my happy self. . . . probably helped that we were completely dead Sunday night. I have the Jets/Dolphins game to thank for that. :)
Oh! And I finally got bangs!! Everyone at work has them and I've been dying to get them for forever but I was too chicken. Well, they're not exactly how I wanted them done, but they work for now. I will post a pic sometime soon.
So, there's also the Jonathan situation. Sunday afternoon I went to check my phone and I see a skype notification and a new email. Well there are only a handful of people that skype me lately, and I can safely eliminate about half of them. So I open it and it's from Jonathan. He had emailed me because he thought I was ignoring him. So anyway, we talked later that night (or technically morning) and we've talked everyday since. Today we talked about our breakup and everything that has happened. I'll save that convo for another day because it was definitely a long convo.
I've gotta go finish some homework. I'm praying that Thursday I'll be out and about with a girl from work. I haven't gone out since I've moved here. Woohoo!!

It was worth it in the end
I've gotta make this a quick post because I need to finish up my homework. I work tomorrow night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon (helloooooo NFL!!). I've had the past two days off which is amazing! I went and blew all of my money yesterday on duct tape for my server's book, Bare Minerals face makeup, sushi for lunch, a new haircut, patches for my jeans, aaaaannnnddd I think that's it. Oh! I got inserts for my bra but they don't work so I'm taking them back. I'll just wear two bras to work.
My big reason for updating?? Guess who emailed me this afternoon. Jonathan. His email was pretty short but it talked about how he's been hearing how I've been doing through his grandmother (who is my facebook friend. I love her!). He said he has been scared to write the email for some time and he wants to hear from me. I don't know what to feel. I feel angry that he waited this long to write me and apologize. I'm sad that everything we've ever worked for between us had fallen apart and I'm left with nothing but a huge hole in my heart that I work everyday to fix. I want to not write back and put him through the hell I went though, but I still want to be his friend and be there for him.
I am so incredibly happy he wrote me though. Nothing but a friendship will happen from this. I won't let anything else happen otherwise. I'll give it a day or so and write back afterwards.

It's been a long time
I've been so incredibly busy with work that my blog updating has suffered! :( Work has been very interesting. Let's see what I remember and what I can post right now.
Today we got our pink scooter back. What does this mean? It means I get to ride around the entire restaurant (and the parking lot) on a pink scooter and entertain people. It actually goes pretty fast too for how little it is. I got a picture of me on it that I made my facebook picture and the scooter is just so damn cute!! I want one for myself to ride around here at the apartment.
I had two young couples come in today. Here's where it gets rather interesting. The first thing the girl says to me when I come to the table is, "Do you know who this is in this picture?" and she pointed to a framed photo on the wall. Of course, I have no idea. She says, "That's me." .. . . . ummm ok? Great? What do you want, a cookie? So time goes on and they all want to buy alcohol. I ask for ID and they all "lost their wallets" but they know the manager. Our manager comes over and says yes, he knows the girl but if they don't have their ID's, they don't get alcohol. So this pissed them off even more. Finally, I bring their food and walk away for about 10 minutes. They polish off their food in this time and then get angry I wasn't over there fast enough to get their check and to-go box. All in all, I made 2 dollars from them. Yay! >:(
We got jerseys to wear on Sunday and Monday and they don't fit me AT ALL!! They're too big, especially in the chest area. I've gotta go out and buy stuff to make my boobs pushed up a little more, even with my Victoria's Secret Bombshell bra. But the jerseys are adorable.
We had our image class yesterday and it basically taught us how to be pretty and what to do to up our sales and get better tips. Note to self: get mints to give to people when they get their check, decorate to-go boxes, and play games. Doesn't seem too hard, I think. I'll have to run to Wally World later this week to pick up mints. Plus, it got me inspired to FINALLY get my hair cut this week with sideswept bangs. I can't wait to see how they'll look on me!!
Oh!! And may I just say here how amazing the girls I work with are? I seriously love them. <3
Well, hopefully I won't have as long between updates.

New Blog
Alright! So I finally decided I'm going to go with my adventures and stuff on being a Hooter's Girl. I figure it's a hell of a lot more interesting than just writing about my dating life.
Today was absolutely dead. I knew it would be, considering it was Labor Day. Everyone's probably out on their boats, grilling out on their patios, and having a good day off. I only made about 20 dollars, but I only had one table. They were just driving through on their Harleys. I was pretty nervous because I have never taken a table of more than 8 people before and they were a table of 11. I didn't mess up at all, although I think I'm pretty dumb when it comes to getting change and handling cash. I completely shut down when it comes to that. I just wish everyone in the world paid with debit card . . . or at least pay with exact change or something.
The Harley people were from Tampa, so a few of the people actually recognized me from where I worked before. It was really cool and showed just how small the world really is. I was able to really joke and laugh with them and it made me feel a lot more comfortable about working here. Of course, I still get that anxious feeling when a table sits with me, but once I get to them, it's gone and I see it's just another chance to prove myself. I can't wait for us to get our Hooters jerseys for football season. We have drink specials now, all kinds of food specials, and Fantasy Football. It's a lot to remember, but I'll bet it will keep us busy for the next few months. Woohoo!!
I've gotta dress up for Halloween. I don't know what I want to be, but I know I FINALLY get to be something sexy. No more kids costumes, no silly costumes, none of that. I have to spend some money and look good this year. I'll keep you updated on what I decide. I will keep a list in my agenda though of what I'm potentially interested in.
That's all I have for now. I'm sure I'll have a lot more stories later!

Changing Angles
Hey everyone!! Long time no write. Well, this week has been hectic to say the least. I started work, I've been studying all week for my test that I just took (got a B, woohoo!!), and I'm OFFICIALLY all settled. Now for the details and all that stuff of my life.
I didn't get the job in Charlotte. Maybe if another position opens up, I'll be able to get it. I'm gonna be honest though, I really don't care that I didn't get this position. This job at Hooters is amazing. I get to make my own schedule, I will be making more than enough money, and the girls are (for the most part) nothing short of amazing. I feel self-conscious at first when I put my uniform on because I don't have the boobs or the totally flat stomach that I want, but once I really get into it, I feel fine. Also, we get free memberships to the gym, so I'm totally taking advantage of that. I officially start tomorrow on my own since the past three days I've been training. I'm pretty nervous but I guess in a good way. Unfortunately, I cannot post pics of me in my uniform or anything because it's against company policy unless it's taken at an event or by an official cameraman or something like that. Maybe one day I'll get pictures or something, but who knows ;) I also may get the chance one day down the road to go overseas, be involved in charities, all that good stuff.
I'm also doing pretty well in school. Granted, it's only been two weeks since school has started, but I'm almost at an A so that's a big yay for me. I still have one other class that will start up in a couple of weeks and I need to get ahead as much as possible in this class now. I'm very proud of myself in the fact I've been keeping up with this bullshit of a difficult class. No joke, this class is so hard.
My mommy's coming up here in about two weeks and finally I'll have a girl's opinion on my makeup and stuff. I have no idea wtf to do when it comes to makeup, but she knows what looks good on me and what doesn't. Plus, if I get bored and my dad's not home, she'll be there. Hopefully the Hooters girls and I will become closer though and I'll have friends.
Alright ladies, a big sort of question/update for this blog. I'm really thinking I should change the angle I'm going with because I'm not able to date right now, I'm just taking the love thing with a grain of salt (especially with everything that has happened to me with the ex and stuff like that), and I don't want to bore anyone who actually reads this. Not that anyone does.
So, I might actually change my angle to be about me being a Hooters Girl and the day to day aspects of working there, the men who come in, the girls I work with, and maybe . . . just MAYBE, I'll meet a guy there. Besides, it may just be a hell of a lot more interesting than the crap I've been putting up here since I started this.
So what do you all think?

Boys blowin' up my phone
Sooooo, I'm not sure if I'm pathetic or what, but I was bored and signed up for a dating site. I'm really just looking to see what kind of people live around here, not at all wanting to meet someone on the site. Besides, I think my parents and friends would think it's weird. Ok changed my mind, I just deleted my profile lol. I'll just meet someone in person. I have no idea who these people are on these sites anyway.
My friend asked me if I was interested in a guy (Jesse) who constantly writes on my facebook and I write on his. I think either she wants me to hook her up with him or she wants me to date him. Unfortunately for me, he has a kid and we've tried to hang out before but he just never followed through with plans and would leave me hanging. He's so funny though and we definitely make each other laugh. Sucks that things couldn't be different for us.
I made friends the other day! We're supposed to be hanging out this weekend so I'm excited to have met people. Their names are Lashay and Tiffany. Tiffany has a 3 year old little boy named Colby and that's how we all started talking (Colby kept wanting to swim with me in the pool). They're pretty cool and I'm psyched to hang out with new people. They were very confused as to why I would leave Tampa for here, and all I can tell them is that I needed a change in my life and needed to start over. So now I need to make a new tag. NC Friends ;-)
My orientation for Hooters got postponed so I need to call back and figure out when it's rescheduled to. I want to start working so badly! Everyone (guys especially) keeps asking me if I'll take pictures of my uniform and post it on facebook. There are four boys especially that keep asking and they're the same four boys that I really can't stand talking to. So for the sake of those four boys, I AM NOT POSTING THE PICTURE FOR YOU!!! Boys are funny. I won't lie, I am wondering how I'll look in that uniform. It still hasn't hit me yet. I'm just hoping this isn't some cruel joke and that this job is for real.
Alright, I slept in until 9:15 today and I cannot do that tomorrow. I have too much stuff to get done tomorrow (gym, tanning, studying, UNPACKING MY CLOTHES FROM THE BOXES) and I'm being lazy. It's chilly tonight. Yay!! Goodnight blogging world!
Actually, before I go to bed, I've been thinking of something a lot lately. With the fact that my ex cheated on me, it really effin hurt. How am I going to ever date if I can't even get past the fact that it wasn't my fault he cheated? Or if it was my fault, what can I do to make sure it won't happen again? I'm still so hurt by all of it. He still made me feel like I was the only one in his life, everything was fine, and then BAM. I don't want to get hurt again.
